Editing Recovered Photos

I took a trip to New Zealand and took hundreds of photos.Unfortunately, the memory card got corrupted. I have recovered the photos using rescuepro software provided by Sandisk but a few of the rescued photos are distorted. When I try editing them on view NX2, the normal photos get distorted too. Has anyone had this kind of problem? Please advise me how I can edit my recovered photos without them getting distorted.

Howdy @Learner - What a bummer! Have you tried opening the photos in an alternative photo editing program? I'm not exactly sure why the photos would get distorted after recovery.
