Tamron AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 SP lens for D5100

Hello! I would like to buy a moderately priced wide angle lens for landscape photography. Based on this forum and other reviews it seems that the Tamron AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 SP Di II LD Aspherical (IF) Lens would fit the bill without breaking the bank. However, I hoped for some more recent reviews or critiques of this lens. Is anyone out there using this lens and, if so, how do you like it?
