Nikon Mobile Utility App

edited December 2015 Posted in » Nikon D5300 Forum
I just ordered my Nikon D5300 Kit (18-55mm and 55-300mm lenses) from B&H. While I wait I am trying to do some further research and found that there is a connectivity app for Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility (WMU) app. Does anyone use it? Do you use a lot or just for a few of the features?

Make sure you get it on your android, and then turn the feature on in the menu.
When you turn on your camera, it should search for the app on your Android. Just make sure that both the Android and the camera batteries are fully charged.

I just put the WMU on my android, and have not tried it yet.
  • I bought my D5300 about a month ago and have tried the app. It is a good concept but the app is buggy. If you want to download a shot or two to your phone for quick sharing it comes in handy. If you want to download many at one time the app tends to get buggy. Hope this helped.
