Issue with exposure/shutter speed not stopping!

edited January 2015 Posted in » Canon 60D Forum
Hi guys! I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue. I was trying out long exposures one night and I did something. Now when I press the button to take a photo the exposure won't stop until I press the button to take a picture again. I've been through the settings and can't figure out what I've done. I cant find the answer on google either, help!

Sounds like you're in bulb mode. Just do whatever it is you have to do to adjust shutter speed to get out of it.
  • @letsmakeitagoodworld - Yeah, it sounds like you're in bulb mode. In bulb mode the shutter stays open until you close it with another shutter press. To prevent camera shake, you'll need to use a remote in order to start and end the bulb exposure. All the best!
