Few Noob Questions.

Hi guys.

I've been using DSLR's for a few years now when I have time to play around, but recently I upgraded to a canon 60D from an old 300D.

I just wanted to clear up a few basic things that really I should know already.

First of all, for the best photo quality, I know I should be shooting in RAW then editing in photoshop afterwards but should I be shooting in large raw or either medium or small? At the moment I've been using large raw and then scaling down my images to a reasonable resolution afterwards.

Secondly, when I tried using video mode recently and it was extremely sunny, there's no way I can record anything; everything just appears too bright, even on the lowest ISO. Do I need a polarised filter here or do I need to adjust white balance or something similar?

Any help is appreciated, many thanks in advance!

This may fix your exposure issue: set into video mode, depress shutter button halfway to calculate exposure, release shutter button & press video record button. Just from memory.
