Transit of Venus - how to photograph it

Any ideas how to photograph a transit of Venus across the sun tomorrow with D5100?
First, do I need any filters or can I point at sun and start taking pictures? This I imagine is NOT the right thing to do, so any help would be appreciated.
Of course, if I can shoot what settings do you recommend?
