Wireless mic recommendations

edited May 2012 Posted in » Canon T2i Forum
Looking for your recommendations on either a wireless (or not) mic for video. What do you use? I am looking for something easy as I will be shooting short (10 minutes and less) episodes, mostly inside. Thanks!

  • Howdy @PhxPhil - If you don't mind syncing audio when compiling the video, the H1 Zoom wireless recorder (see here) is an affordable solution, giving you fantastic audio quality for recording anything that produces music (musician, band, etc...).

If you don't have a third hand available, you can slide it onto the hot shoe using a threaded adapter (see here). Happy shooting! :)
  • Thanks Moose. That's the one I want, but at this point, I decided on the wired set up. Not sure I am ready to do syncing. Seems like too much work for what I will be doing for now which are short informative 3-8 minute videos. Also not great with the editing software yet either.

I've got the 3i Pentium processor. Would syncing work with that?
