Memory card choices for my 60D

edited February 2012 Posted in » Canon 60D Forum
I will be purchasing a 60D with 100-400mm lens to be used primarily for bird photography. What specific memory card would you suggest?

@barryman - I recommend going for a Lexar branded 16GB class 10 SDHC memory card (see here). This card will give you around 2,400 exposures at the highest image quality setting (JPEG), which is more than enough for a day of birding. It's also above the class 6 requirement, which ensures top performance whether shooting a burst of images or capturing HD video. Happy shooting! :)

I just picked up two of the memory cards Moose was mentioning for $40 at Adorama (see here).
