Indoor photos without IS lens

edited July 2012 Posted in » Canon T2i Forum
Hello, I recently bought Canon T2i that came with a tele-photo lens 70-300mm. Only after receiving it I realized it doesn't support image stabilizing. I tried using it outdoors and the pictures come out great, however, when the object is moving (my kids were playing) while I take the shot, the image quality is shaky/horrible. I even tried sports mode but that doesn't improve the picture quality when the object is moving. Can you please guide me on which T2i settings to choose for outdoor sports photography? Also, tele-photo doesn't get me great pictures indoors. Do you have recommendations for wide angle IS lenses for indoor photography?
Thank you,
Sana

What you might want to try is a faster shutter speed (250+). You may need to bring up ISO and lowest F stop setting.

    Hope this helps.
