How to photograph the moon

This Saturday (May 5th) we are supposed to have a "Super Moon" and I want to get great pictures of it but I have no idea what the best settings would be. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

  • Yes, I would like to know about that too!
  • I'd like to know more about that as well!
  • I just shot a bunch. Try using f/11 at 1/250

Legal, what ISO setting did you use? I heard for darker images you need to use a higher ISO to get a better picture, but I also heard that the higher the ISO, the more pixellation you get.
  • Sanjman: ISO was 100. Remember that the moon was a very bright object that night.
