What lens should I buy for video recording

Hi there!

First of all I want to thank you for the great articles on your website. You give very valuable information for a noob like me. :)

Now I recently bought the D5100, together with a Glidecam. It's important to mention that I'm a total beginner with photography, DSLR, and camera stabilizer, and I'm try to learn as much as I can on how to use my camera.

I had the chance to make and publish my first video last weekend, and would love to get some advice regarding the purchase of a better lens.
Here is the video I made :

Except the auto-exposure problem (which I think I can fix for my next video thanks to some tips I read about) and some bad movements with the glidecam, I was pretty happy concidering it's a first try! I had so much fun that I want to improve both my skills and gear.

For this video, I used the kit lens 18-55mm VR.

My question is simple: Which lens would you suggest me to buy for this type of video recording?

Apart from the lens, if you have tips or critics about my video, I'm eager to learn! I want to get the best out of my D5100.
