Howdy @MALLEWIS78 - My experience is tied directly to digital photography, so I'm still very green when it comes to HD video recording. Most beginners who are just getting started with HD filmmaking, go for the "nifty fifty" Canon 50mm f/1.8 based on the shallow depth of field it produces and it's low light ability.
