Night shooting

I am planning to visit Tokyo in a month's time. I want to take some shots of night life in Tokyo using my canon 60D. Could you give me some tips for it?

Wow, sounds like a great time. Are you planning on shooting mostly landscapes and cityscapes at night or people and moving subjects in low light? Once I know that, I can point you in the right direction. :)

@likethesoup35 - moving subjects in a night time setting is going to be tough. You are going to need a fast lens, f/2.8 or faster, and a good flash unit.
