Raw processing issues

Hi All - I just got a pre-owned 60D, not very old with very little use. When I convert raw files to jpg on my laptop using a file converter they come out all purple and weird. Is this because I have to use a specific product/software? Thanks.

Hi @stevenet150 - I have had similar results using file converters. The best solution is to download Canon's DPP software. Process your raw files and then save them to JPG. You can do this and keep the original raw files if you wish. Regards - PBked

Howdy @stevenet150 - I second @PBked answer. You can download the latest DPP (Digital Photo Professional) software from Canon's 60D support page here. Just enter your operating system and you'll see the available downloads. Happy shooting! :)
