Memory card not reading at photo printing stores

edited March 2012 Posted in » Canon 60D Forum
I bought Canon 60D from Costco. I am enjoying the camera with great photos. The only problem is that I am able to download the photos in .CR2 format to my laptop, but the sdhc memory card won't read when I take it to CVS, Walgreens or Target to print the photos. Any suggestions?

  • Howdy @june273 - Those retailers generally can't read RAW (CR2) images straight from a memory card. You'll need to first process the RAW images and save them as .JPG (JPEG). You can do this using the supplied software or you can do it using the RAW image processing feature...just access the menu, navigate to the first playback tab and select 'RAW image processing'. Happy shooting! :)
