Continuous Shutter Release

edited May 2015 Posted in » Nikon D5300 Forum
I'm new to the D5300 and I have the reference manual PDF. I know that the camera can be set to fire continuously for at least three sequential shots because I saw it demonstrated during a D5300 review. My objective is manual HDR even though I know that HDR is available under "Effects". I set "release mode" to continuous (RM p 230) frame a shot and press the shutter release button. I get one shot only. Holding the shutter release button - still one shot.

Seems simple, but I'm obviously doing something wrong or there is a conflict with another camera setting.

Comments or suggestions will be helpful - thanks.

    Never mind.

Got frustrated too soon. Now shooting 3 continuously. Registering here and posting must've been the ticket. Anyway, I'm registered here and may have questions that I can't answer.
