How can I connect to my iPad thru connector using mini usb port and cable, and continue to take photos? When I plug in mini usb port the camera completely stops functioning as a camera.

I'm having a similar problem. I have an itouch. When I plug it in, it only functions as a camera and not a music player, so I can not add music to it (unless through itunes).
