I just purchased the Canon Rebel T3. Can I use the same settings as the T3i?

Sure, can’t fathom why not. Exposure settings are just exposure settings.
If you went from a T3 to a T3i, that’s an odd move. It’s a slight downgrade in terms of specs.

So my question is since both the T3 and T3i are basically the same, the cheat sheets for the T3i will work for the T3 correct?
