Photo editing

I'm looking for a easy to use photo editing program. I have tried the Nikon software, Lightroom, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. I really like all the options that Photoshop has to offer, but I don't care for the monthly membership that Adobe forces you to have. None of the other programs that I have tried seem to compare to Photoshop. The other programs layouts are not that easy to use and I am having a hard time learning them. I just have the 30 day free download of them. Can anyone suggest a program that is easy to learn for a Mac, and that is not to expensive? Thanks.

Have you tried Gimp? It's free and offers much of what Photoshop does. It's not very user friendly, but if you need to figure out how to do something, there's plenty of video tutorials on YouTube.
