Auto mode landscape

edited December 2013 Posted in » Nikon D3100 Forum
Hello guys,

I just bought my first Nikon D3100. I am a great fan of landscape pictures, but I am a beginner. Should I just start with the auto mode of landscape's or do you have other tricks?

Thanks!

You can start with auto mode. Most important parts of landscape photography is in your head, thus meaning framing the picture correctly and choosing the right weather and time of day. You can use aperture mode and f/8-16 to get everything in focus and sharp. You will do fine with your kit lens for a while. No gear or setting can get you the right moment. Enjoy your new camera!
