Focusing on more than one subject

edited November 2013 Posted in » Nikon D3200 Forum
I am a newbie to the Nikon D3200, and I just bought the 50mm prime lens. It is working great so far, but is there a way to focus on more than one subject? I have twins and I can't seem to get both of their faces in focus. Any help is appreciated!

Hey @New2nikon - Yep, all you have to do is increase the aperture f-number. Go ahead and enable Aperture priority mode (A on the mode dial), then set your f-number to f/4. Take a couple test shots. If one of your kids is still out of focus, then increase it to f/5.6.

Here's a quick video tutorial I created, showing you how to adjust the aperture on the Nikon D3200...

    All the best! :)
