Hello, I am considering buying a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, as I am interested in landscape. Please advise if it is worth it to buy.

I was going to get this lens. The reviews I read all say it is on par with the Canon version, even though the range isn't as much; the canon being 10-22mm. The Tokina is f/2.8 rather then the Canon which is f/3.5, making it slightly faster.

I was able to get the Canon second hand for the same price as the Tokina new, which is why I went that way instead.
  • Hey @nauman00 - Yep, the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 is an excellent landscape lens...especially if you're interested in star photography. The f/2.8 aperture is great for capturing star trails and nightscapes, while the 11-16mm will allow you to frame super wide vistas and city skylines. All the best!
