Setup for Indoor Shoots

edited April 2013 Posted in » Canon T2i Forum
I'm looking to get a complete setup for indoor shoots (umbrella flashes, backdrops, and another lens). All I have is the kit lens and a zoom. I really like the Canon 50mm f/1.8 that I reviewed. What flashes and remote shutter would you recommend?

Howdy @roneal1 - In order to take portraits and group shots indoors, you'll need multiple flashes that are synced together. This can get quite technical.

A good resource to check out is the Strobist blog. He's got lots of tutorials and different setups using a variety of speedlites.

I also recommend checking out the Digital Photography Book (Volume 2) which has lots of great info for beginners looking to get started with studio or flash photography. Happy shooting! :)
