Are EF lenses ok to use with Canon 60D instead of EF-S lenses?

Are EF lenses OK to use with a Canon 60D instead of EF-S lenses? Is the 70-300mm EF suitable for the Canon 60D? Can the EF-M lens adapter improve the quality of my 18-135mm Canon zoom?

@roncarver - Yes, both EF and EF-S lenses will work on the 60D. Yes, the 70-300mm EF is a fantastic telephoto zoom lens for outdoor shooting. No, the Canon EF-M Lens adapter is for attaching EF/EF-S lenses to the Canon EOS M (mirrorless camera). Happy shooting! :)
