Why are my 60D files all of a sudden being named _2.jpeg?

All of a sudden my files are numbered IMG_2245_2.jJPG,IMG_2245.JPG,IMG_2246_2.JPG. Any idea why? Did I hit a setting by accident? It's screwing up my ingestion for Pano's.

    If your photos are already uploaded to your computer or in a file, they will sometimes be renumbered when you move them to another file unless you tell the computer not to.
    The _2 just tells the computer this is the second of the same image.

    Either that or you are recording the photo twice in the camera; one as a raw and the other as a JPG.

    No idea really, just throwing some thoughts out there.
